Pam passed away 8/3/2017, and will now be reunited with her husband, Stan who passed away in 2011.
Pam is survived by Stan's daughter Judy Lochrie, son Gary Lochrie, his wife Kathy, their children Kyle , Chad, and Jennifer along with her husband Dayne and their children Anthony and Audrey. Also survived by nephew Rob Mumford, his wife Angela and their sons Mark and Will, niece Pam Sanstrom, her husband Bill and their children Kurt and Kara.
A celebration of life will be held September 28, 2017 at 10:00 am at the First United Methodist Church, 522 White Ave., Grand Junction, Colorado. Burial services will be held at a later date at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver.
Pam was born in Toledo, Ohio and grew up in Michigan. She graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She had a career in Marketing until retirement when she and Stan moved to Dillon, Colorado and then to Marana, Arizona and Grand Junction, Colorado.
Pam was a member of the Grand Junction Symphony Guild, the Grand Junction Art Center Guild and the Newcomers Club. She was also a volunteer at the Grand Junction Visitor Center.
Pam loved the life she was given, as well as her family, friends, nature, gardening, traveling, the fine arts, good wine and especially Dachshunds.
Pam's most precious gifts were, however, the memories she kept of friends and family.
The family would like to thank Hope West, Visiting Angels, and especially her close friends and neighbors at the Seasons; Rouene Brown, Bonnie Holland, Alberta Husch , Frieda Kurzbach, Ruth Leever, and Del Wharton for all their help while Pam fought her courageous battle with cancer.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Western Colorado Community foundation providing funding to non- profit organizations in Grand Junction and the Western Slope (970-243-3767).
